Adventure safaris are great for those who like to get outdoors, into the fresh pure Connemara elements. These activities are perfect for those of enterprising spirit, from 8 years of age to 80. The minimum age will vary across activity so please ensure each activity chosen is age appropriate to avoid disappointment upon arrival. Whatever level of challenge you are looking for; there will be a selection of adventure safaris to choose from. From weekenders to annual family safaris, archaeological/historical interest to just enjoying the great outdoors; beaches to islands to loughs to lower altitude mountains, Connemara has it all, and so could you!
Each and every one of our adventure activities has a degree of difficulty rating ranging from: Easy (green – one Shamrock logo goes here), Moderate (blue – two Shamrock logos here), and Difficult (red – three Shamrock logos go here) to Severe (black – four Shamrock logos go here) and ultimately Extreme (orange – five Shamrock logos go here). A reasonable level of physical fitness is required to partake in any of our adventure activities.
As with everything that pushes the limits there is an element of risk involved but safety is foremost in our and our supplier partners’ minds. Operating within strict safety guidelines, instructors are all qualified, professional and friendly that make it their business to ensure activities are enjoyed in the safest way possible.
Anyone can get out on an adventure and enjoy the excitement and challenge of something that takes your body and mind, the mind particularly, to the very edge. But if you want to rise to greater challenges and to progress safely and knowledgeably to the tougher tasks and greater degrees of difficulty, then skills tuition is the best way forward. On our selection of skills courses you will learn essential techniques such as how to handle a power boat, windsurf, sail, paddle a kayak, et al!
Courses can mean the difference between safe and fun or grazed knees and broken bones! Courses range from Introductory, Intermediate and Expert, choose one which best suits your needs.
