Come and discover the breath-taking sandy white beaches of Connemara on horseback. Guided in English, French, German, 1 & 2 hours. Max 6. Available March – October.


An unique opportunity to discover some of the most breath-taking scenery in the West of Ireland on horseback. The riding centre is situated right beside the Atlantic Ocean and the famous Ballyconneely Golf Links. Spectacular beach rides have provided riders with some amazing experiences over the years and all our rides are accompanied by experienced staff. They will guide you and your horse safely along the dazzling sandy beaches and through wide open countryside.

With the Twelve Bens as a backdrop, the Atlantic Ocean at your feet, the picturesque fishing village of Roundstone and the colourful town of Clifden only a few miles away, it doesn’t come any more scenic than this! Treks to suit all levels of riding. The ponies and horses are all very well behaved and well-schooled. Our team is totally committed to offer you the safest experience possible and turn it into the highlight of your holidays. The establishment is AIRE approved.

Guides are fluent in French and German with a little Dutch.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the ride start time.

In the interest of animal welfare there is a rider weight limit of 98kgs/200lbs/14 stone. Children must be over 6 years of age.

Ideally riding boots should be worn but any boot or shoe with a reasonably flat sole and a small heel would be acceptable. Boots and/or half chaps are available free of charge from UK size 2 to 11. Smaller or bigger feet should bring their own suitable footwear.

No jewellery should be worn (smooth wedding ring is acceptable).
