Kayaking on Corrib River
Set off along the River Corrib to the largest lake in Ireland. The kayak is the perfect craft to take in this natural wonder close-up. The River Corrib runs through the centre of Galway town, connecting Lough Corrib to the sea. At 170sq.km Lough Corrib is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland with more than 1,000 islands and islets to explore.
This Corrib tour is a mix of open water paddling, island hopping, navigating rocky and reedy channels, observing nature and enjoying stunning vistas. Within reason the trip is aligned to the abilities of paddlers.

Please Note
Bring a towel and warm clothes to change into after the session. There are no toilet facilities at the parking area or during the kayaking tour. It is strongly recommended to wear a life jacket when on or close to water. Please advise the guide if you are not a strong swimmer prior to taking part in the activity.
