Step on board and take an enthralling one hour history cruise on beautiful Lough Corrib with your  local historian and boat captain as he takes you on a captivating journey through time. Lough Corrib is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland and reputedly has 365 islands – one for every day of the year.
Your skipper will tell you the amazing history and ancient folklore of the lake and the surrounding area as the scenic landscape unfolds before your eyes.
View impressive Ashford Castle on the shores of Lough Corrib. This medieval and Victorian castle which has been expanded over the centuries, was once owned by the Guinness family who used it as a hunting lodge and is now five star luxury hotel. The castle was built on the perimeter of a monastic site in 1228 and has a rich and colourful history.
A visit to The Old Steamers Quay on the lake and views of Lord Ardilaun’s Obelisk are highlights of the cruise.
